All the research areas Developed in FIK, are in charge of Fatronik.
Fatronik is a private Research Centre, with an explicit market orientation, whose aim is to achieve economic impact through technological innovation and development. It offers high added value technology research and development organised into two units: Industrial Systems and Health. The Health Unit has extensive experience in the ageing and disability area and will lead the research lines in FIK. This unit works to develop products for people’s service: products and services that maximize their personal autonomy; that make them feel safe; that help them to age with quality; that speed up their rehabilitation processes; that compensate their physical disabilities; that reduce the impact of disabilities to ageing… all in all, that contribute to improve their quality of life.
